Paper, or canvas
A small note on why the same picture can live two honest lives.
Prints are not lesser paintings. They are a different hospitality. Paper holds a whisper of tooth; canvas holds a whisper of weave. Both are archival, both are matte, both will outlive the mood in which you bought them.
I print to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to be liked. If you are unsure, tell me about the wall — the light, the furniture, whether you want the work to recede or to greet you at the door. We will choose from there.
Originals remain originals. They leave the studio once.
